The upgrade of the Delayed channel is currently not planned.
Release Channels (US)
Dragon Medical SpeechKit (Browser edition) is provided on three release channels: Beta, Mainline, and Delayed. We advise that development partners have all three channels configurable for their integrations, so rather than changing integrations to test different versions, they only need to switch test installations to Beta.
Beta channel — the version in development. Use this channel to verify that your application works with the upcoming version.
Release cycle: Up to one release per week.
Mainline channel — the officially released version. Use this channel to integrate the latest officially released version.
Release cycle: Approximately one to three releases per quarter.
Delayed channel — one version previous to Mainline. Use this channel to downgrade from Mainline if critical issues that affect your integration occur on Mainline; they are likely to be solved before the next Mainline release.
Release cycle: Approximately one to three releases per quarter.
Please note: Legacy URLs (version-specific paths like /3.3) are deprecated with the new channels concept.
PowerMic Web Extension
Dragon Medical SpeechKit (Browser edition) is compatible with the PowerMic Web Extension, available on the Google Chrome Extensions Web Store: Nuance PowerMic Web Extension.
